Messaging integrated into the group.

Each live group comes with its chat. Designed for quick coordination — not to replace long chats on WhatsApp.

You enter the group chat

From the group tab, a tap takes you to the conversation. If there are new messages, you'll see a badge with the count. The list of members and their online status remains visible at the top.

You send a message, photo, or location

Quick text, direct photo from the camera, or your current position with a tap. The idea is to have the key formats a finger's distance away.

Everyone sees it on their device

Push notification if they don't have the chat open. Timestamp of when it was sent and read indicators. They remain in the history for later viewing.

Los mensajes llegan al instante mientras la app está abierta y conectada. Indicador de "escribiendo" para saber cuándo alguien te está por contestar.

Fotos directo desde cámara

Sacás la foto desde el chat o elegís una existente. Se comprime para enviar rápido. El receptor la ve en el feed sin abrir nada extra.

Compartir ubicación específica

Marcás un punto exacto en el mapa y lo mandás al chat. El grupo puede tocarlo para ver dónde es. Útil para "vení a este punto".

Mensajes persistentes

El historial queda guardado dentro de un período razonable. Los riders que se conectan después ven lo que pasaron mientras estaban offline.

Notificaciones push

Si no tenés el chat abierto, recibís push notification con el preview del mensaje. Configurable: podés silenciar grupos específicos cuando necesites.

Chat and map are the same thing. You see your buddies on the map, see messages in the chat, all within the app without jumping to other tools.

Cuando estás coordinando una salida, lo peor es saltar entre apps: leés un mensaje en una, mirás el mapa en otra, perdés el contexto. La idea del chat integrado es que todo viva en el mismo espacio mental.

Mandás "¿dónde estás?" y la respuesta llega como un punto compartido sobre tu mismo mapa. Hablás de un paisaje y mandás la foto con un tap. La conversación y la navegación dejan de ser dos cosas separadas.

"Salgo en 5, llego al km 12 en media hora". Mensajes cortos para que todo el grupo arranque coordinado sin tener que llamar uno por uno.

En pausa: foto del paisaje

Parás a tomar agua, sacás la cámara y compartís lo que ves al grupo. Los que vienen atrás saben qué les espera.

Mid-ride: change of plans

The leader decides to take a detour. They write it in the chat, send the new location, everyone is informed instantly without having to stop the group.

What people ask before trying.

Are messages private?

Messages are only visible to the members of the specific group. They are not visible outside that group or to other users of the app. Communications are encrypted in transit and the server's database is protected at rest. We don't have an admin panel where the team reads user conversations. Important: it's not end-to-end encrypted, so treat the chat as appropriate for coordination, not for sensitive confidential info.

How long do messages last?

The history is kept for a reasonable period after the last group activity. Very old messages may be automatically purged to keep the system agile. The idea is for you to see the recent conversation and plans from the last outings, not for the chat to become a permanent historical archive.

Can messages be deleted?

Yes, you can delete messages that you sent yourself. If you made a mistake or wrote something you didn't want, you delete it from the chat for all members. You can't delete messages from others — that's what the reporting system is for (next).

Does it work offline?

No. The chat requires a connection to send and receive messages in real-time. If you're in an area with no signal, the messages you write stay in queue and are sent as soon as you regain internet. The same goes for incoming messages: they appear when you have network again.

Is there a photo size limit?

Photos are automatically compressed before sending so the chat is fast even with limited connection. The upload limit is generous for typical camera photos — don't expect to send multi-megapixel files without cropping, but regular day photos will fit without a problem.

Can a message be reported?

Yes. Each message has a report option for cases of inappropriate content, harassment, or other abuse. The report goes to moderation and the reported user can be blocked at your request. You can also block any group member from their profile — they stop seeing your messages and you don't see theirs.
