How it works

From created group to group on the map.

The idea is to make coordinating an outing feel natural — without sending messages asking where everyone is, without radios, without losing the flow of the ride.

Create or join a group

From the Groups tab. Invite by username or accept the invitation you receive. The group stays persistent — you can activate it again next weekend without reassembling it.

Activate location sharing

Explicit toggle is off by default. When you turn it on, you decide which group members you want to share with and for how long. No permanent commitment.

Everyone on the same map

Each member appears as a dot with their color, initials, and a label with their name. Speed and heading visible. Tap on a buddy to see details.

Tracking en vivo

Las posiciones se actualizan continuamente mientras la app está activa. La frecuencia se ajusta según el movimiento — más rápido si el grupo está en movimiento, más lento si están detenidos.

Color y nombre por miembro

Cada rider tiene un color asignado consistente entre sesiones. El nombre se muestra en un label debajo del dot. Ubicás a quién es quién de un vistazo.

Velocidad y heading

Cada buddy en el mapa muestra su velocidad actual y la dirección hacia donde apunta. Útil para saber si están avanzando, frenados o si cambiaron de rumbo.

Visibilidad granular

No es todo-o-nada. Decidís rider por rider quién te ve y a quién ves. Podés excluir a un buddy específico de tu compartir sin salir del grupo.

Waypoints compartidos

El grupo puede marcar waypoints comunes en el mapa (punto de encuentro, peligro, parada). Todos los ven al instante.

Integrated with chat

Vos decidís quién te ve. No la app por defecto.

Compartir ubicación es una decisión seria y muchas apps la tratan como un switch único: lo prendés o lo apagás todo. Nosotros lo separamos por buddy. Querés que Marco y Luz te vean pero Dan no, en este grupo específico, hoy: eso se puede.

Cada vez que abrís la app, compartir ubicación arranca apagado. Es una decisión activa cada salida — no algo que la app va dejando prendido en background porque sí. Tu ubicación es tuya y la compartís cuando importa.

When there’s a significant difference in pace, seeing where everyone is prevents the faster ones from getting too far ahead.

What people ask before trying.

What about my privacy?

Your location is only shared with the group members you explicitly authorize, and only while you have sharing turned on. Each time you open the app, sharing starts off: you turn it on for each outing. The app does not show your position to users outside the group. Tracking data is deleted from the server after a reasonable period — we don’t accumulate a permanent history of movements.

Does it drain a lot of battery?

Live tracking is one of the most battery-intensive features of any navigation app — that's inevitable because it requires continuous GPS. We optimize the update frequency based on movement (more spaced out if you're still, more frequent if you're moving fast) and the app respects the system's low power mode. We recommend bringing a power bank on long outings.

Does it work without mobile network?

Tracking requires intermittent connection to sync between members. In areas without signal, GPS continues to work locally, but the positions of the buddies won't update until a rider regains network. When the signal returns, everything syncs in cascade. Don't expect live coordination if everyone is in a valley without coverage.

How many members per group?

Up to several dozen members per group. For typical outings of 4 to 12 riders, it works without a hitch. For larger events, we recommend splitting into sub-groups by section or stage, which also makes it easier to read the map when there are a lot of dots together.

Can I pause sharing without leaving the group?

Yes. There's a toggle for "pause sharing my location" that makes you disappear from the buddies' map but keeps you in the group. Handy if you want to stop to do something without the group seeing you parked for hours. You can turn it back on when you're moving again.
