How it works

From creating the group to managing a caravan of 10 riders.

When activated, it feels like having a co-pilot counting heads at every crossing and alerting when someone falls behind.
1

You create the caravan

From the live group, you activate Caravan Mode. Members appear in a sorted list with the leader at the front. Each with their color, speed, and heading visible to everyone.

2

The app counts heads

At every crossing or important waypoint, the app automatically checks how many riders are present. If anyone is missing, it alerts you with a banner before you move on without them.

3

Coordinate without radios

group alert, lagging rider alert, option to "wait for the group", automatic route sync. All from the app, no need for walkie-talkies or shouting.

What it includes

4 systems working together.

Route sync among all

If the leader adjusts the route or adds a new waypoint, it automatically propagates to all members of the caravan. No need to resend GPX or explain changes.

Roles claros

When to use it

Designed for serious outings.

Rallies and organized events

The organizer is the leader. The route is distributed automatically. If there are incidents, the group alert notifies the entire staff.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before trying it out.

Do we all need Premium?
The leader of the caravan must have Premium to activate the mode. Members can be Free to join — but some advanced features (route sync, full head count view) require Premium for each one. The idea is for the leader to pay for the group, not to be a barrier to adding friends.
Does it work without signal?
Partially. Each rider's GPS works offline, but the head count and sync between members require intermittent connection between phones. In areas without coverage, positions update as soon as any member regains signal and sync in cascade. The group alert does try to send even if you have weak signal.
How many riders can a caravan support?
Up to 12 riders per caravan. For larger groups (rallies with 30+), we recommend splitting into sub-caravans with designated leaders. We're considering raising the limit in a future version.
What happens if the leader loses battery or signal?
The app detects the leader's inactivity after ~2 minutes without updates. It suggests the next most advanced rider as a new temporary leader. When the original returns, they can resume leadership or remain as a regular member.
Does the group alert call emergency services or just the group?
Just the group. The group alert sends a push notification to the entire caravan with your exact GPS position. The app does NOT automatically call emergency services — that decision is left to the group (the nearest rider or another member). We're evaluating integration with official services in future versions.
Can I turn off the head count if we like to separate?
Yes. Each rider can adjust the lagging threshold (200m default, configurable up to 2km) or turn it off individually. The leader can also disable the global head count for the caravan if it's a "ride at your own pace" day.
